The Pink Dress Project

The Pink Dress Photography Project, which originated at the Lower Eastside Girls Club of New York City, featured leftover pink prom dresses that were modeled and photographed by young people in NYC, Los Angeles, the Flathead Nation, and Chiapas, Mexico. The resulting work, which was shown in all four locales, was premiered at the Photoville Festival in New York City. The photographs below are by Flathead Nation students: Danielle Adler, Zion Bolan, Joshua Charlo-Crumley, Lee Anna Powell, Nikki Burke, Bojai Grant, Esperanza Orozco-Charlo, Chayla Russell, Chandra Whiteman LaForge, Chaise Yonkin. Photographs also feature young people from Elmo, Montana in the 2018 Tribal Health Summer Youth Leadership Program.
